That doesn’t mean anything. MS has a bunch of non union factories and factory farms. That means they produce a lot of value. None of it stays in the state, not in wages, or final processing, or recouped and redistributed by low tax government.

GDP and GDP per capita are poor measurements for developed countries. HDI, poverty level, etc...are better form of measurement. Germany citizens live longer and retire a decade earlier than people from Mississippi

I’ve just come back from Louisiana . Hmm. Let me tell you - I’ve not seen poverty like that in Europe never mind the uk . Some of it beautiful , some of it : horrendous . GDP is fake news
