My main issue with interviews is that everyone on Earth does leetcode but it only works for devs, I have had interviews for data governance and data analysis with algs performed by someone who clearly doesnt know them by heart either. why not focus in something we actually do on the team?

Cheating for interview = bad. "Cheating" in job = wow he fixed it! That's really the main reason.
