Does the wife offer restaurants she wants to go to, or does she just veto and offer no alternatives? Either way, I’d tell her to take the daughters out for mom dates. Then order take out from the restaurants while they’re out!

Not only do you get to go to places you enjoy, but you are getting quality time with your girls. Don't ever stop this.. when your old and your kids are grown you will never look back and say I wish I didn't.
