verso is a character who shows that "mercy can be cruel" however maelle shows that ignorance is bliss at the cost of loosing yourself in delusion. verso was the moraly correct choice as he is making the steps to help his family move on and grive without his canvas as a constant reminder of the tragedy. thats my take on it at least

from the first time Renoir told us his reasons I had already agreed with him n that's why I didn't hesitate to choose Verso's ending. i dont even try to do Alicia's ending bec I knew that'd be somekind of bad ending n i didnt want to see that in any of my playthrough. like I understood Alicia had a hard time in grieving Verso but we all know from start, Verso wanted these whole things to be ended like he told his maman to rest. also, I was thinking that since Alicia was a painter she could've made another painting n make some memory of Verso in that painting. it's another way of making memories about him stay alive so when Verso said the same thing I almost choke bec it feels so sad especially when in reality I'm closer with my brother compared to my sister. like I might go insane too if I lost my brother bec of my mistake [tears]
