@iamloloalexis: #wordsofwisdomwednesday When I first laid on that table two years ago …I went through more than I ever shared… Number 1 - I’m the oldest. Not only am I the oldest I’m often ALWAYS called to solve everything because I naturally am a problem solver, reliable, and extremely selfless. I have always been a self-sacrificing friend, sister, colleague, and daughter…. However, for two years aside from losing weight I was really handling so much…and while in therapy I really woke up one day and said “I need a new environment….I need a healthier environment….a wealthier environment…a more loving environment to be my best”….. So yes I changed. I no longer would self sacrifice or feel obligated to compete for a place in anyone’s life….knowing that when the tables are turned those very same people barely inconvenienced self for me. I divorced passive aggressive behavior patterns and poor communication… I no longer let loyalty be my guiding light while I crumbled to keep my pieces together trying to be “a good person” —-I stopped holding myself to being the bigger person while everyone basked in their chaotic lack of accountability… As soon as I commanded healthy environments my entire life changed. Everyone I attracted changed. I have become greater because what surrounds me encourages me to be the greatest every single day. So I wrote this long winded message to say it’s okay to just want more…. You don’t have to carry everyone through every season just because they knew you prior to upgrading your aura and spirit.
