Reward for any signs of interest. Add the 'Settle' Cue: When they lie down, calmly say “settle” and reward. Repeat and lengthen the stay. Build Distance & Duration: Slowly move away while they stay. Return and reward calmness. Teach 'Release': Use a consistent word like “free” to signal session end.
