I have bi-lateral hip dysplasia. Right side became severe and am recovering from PAO surgery from June last year. I got told I was too young for a hip replacement 🤷🏼♀️

How much support did you need post-surgery? I don't have an available support system (everyone has families/partners/jobs) and I'm hoping that once I get a ride home, I can hobble around to take care of myself. And eventually return to skiing/climbing/biking/hiking/etc, but it sounds like I'll never get back to my previous levels, if anything. 🥲

Well done my physio told me after my hip replacement to say in my head elephant when taking steps sounds crazy but it worked and no limp!

I had mine done 9 days ago I'm already walking in the house without crutches can easily do all the exercises no pain except pain and swelling from the op I can stand on it longer than before no limp
