Speaking as a doctor- circumcision is a cosmetic procedure & I FULLY support an adult choosing to modify their body w/consent however they like- but it is not medically necessary or “more hygenic”

When I was a kid my 14 year old friend saved up and bought his own circumcision… because the first girl that ever saw it said “ewe” 😂 he had to wear a diaper type thing for days

I know a lot of older men (worked in senior care for years) who would have to get circumcisions in their 80s because of cleanliness and other health issues.

happened to my partner as a kid too, he’s been seriously injured many times and says it was one of the worst recoveries he’s had and can’t imagine going through it as a confused newborn with no pain meds

I worked in a urology office for awhile and saw sooo many young men coming in for late circumcision consultations. The oldest I ever saw was 16. Idk if he decided to go through with it or not, but if he did, I can only imagine how awful that healing process was for him.
