My heart dog died a year and a half ago and I am still in care credit debt from his last two years of life. Their very high interest rate will likely mean I am still in care credit debt next year lmfao

We lost 4 cats in one year and at one point we had to go pick up the ashes of one and drop off her brother who had 💀 at home the night before. I was definitely worried they were going to report us or something. They were just all seniors 😩

As a fellow vet med employee - I too collect chronic issue animals. We all have a morbid sense of humor in this field otherwise we would breakdown daily. Lol

When I had to put my cat down, I was so uncontrollably distraught that the vet himself stopped what he was doing and bear hugged me until I stopped crying. I was so embarrassed. 😖

I worked in a vet clinic, and it was the opposite. We were judgy about the people who were keeping pets alive when it was obvious they had no quality of life.

Work at a Vet. Lots of people only bring their pets in for end of life care, so going to a single place for all of them is not weird. I promise. I am so very sorry for your loss ♥️

I work at a vet and no, 2 cats with FIV needing to be euthanized close-ish together is not a red flag. Letting them suffer is a way bigger red flag in our opinion. I am so sorry for your losses ❤️❤️

To me it sounds like you’re very caring, giving the animals the best life possible, while knowing when to give them peace even when it hurts your heart and bank account. Very green flag.

After inheriting my mom’s 3 senior cats, I lost two of them and my 13yr old St. Bernard in the same calendar year. It’s just happens that way sometimes. Condolence’s.

I haven't lost that many but my old man pup, who was almost 13, had to be put to sleep a week and a half ago 💔 im so sorry for your losses!

I work in an emergency vet and unfortunately we see it quite often where they got their pets around the same time or kept a whole litter so then they all die around the same time or one was old and then a freak accident happened to another a few weeks later. a few families picked up cremains while bringing in their other pet for humane euthanasia. its a lot to have happen all so close together and we understand how difficult it can be. try to take time to work through your grief for your furry family members 💔
