Thank you for sharing this, but people need to understand that a brain dead person is dead. She is not alive, and her body is declining because there is no brain to regulate the hormones needed for healthy bodily processes. A respirator is keeping her heart beating, but it’s beating inside of a dead body that is decomposing (just more slowly). There’s no way the fetus will develop normally.

Why are people even fighting over the morality of this? Morals left the chat long time ago, this just a matter of obsession and scientific curiousity. And those who see this as a good thing fail to see the bigger picture which would be the life of said possible child born from this. Just because life happens doesn't mean it always should.

I don't understand this issue really I'm trying to get why ppl are so upset. She was already pregnant right? So, the hospital job is to preserve LIFE. Even if she is brain dehd, the focus is now on the life INSIDE her. Why are ppl upset I literally don't understand... and why wouldn't the family want the baby and raise it and love it in her honor? I don’t understand this. If someone is brain dead, then they are basically dead, right? Then wouldn’t her fetus also be dead? How is it legally understood as abortion? There’s no inducing abortion, right? If the mother is dead during pregnancy? I’m genuinely confused
