@dudeinthedurag: A lot of you willingly let yourself get scammed at the car dealership when buying a new car because you don’t understand how interest rates work. #greenscreen #Cars #dealership #newcar #buyingacar #fyp #atlanta
You’re right! I would advise anyone if you have a relationship with a credit union, get a loan with them-with a super low APR. no need for the dealership to run your credit down to the ground. 15% is honestly sad!

Yeah but it’s only a $25k car, if you have a good paying job you could probably pay it off in a year.

also don’t forget that if you buy a car with a super high interest rate, you can make that first payment then refinance with a credit union the very next day

This why I use a credit union 😩I got approved for 27k with 10% and I only took that because the dealership got me approved but for 25% so I ran like hell outta there 😩😹 and called my credit union

Went to the dealership and they gave me a 12% offer , no money down. I told them I was going to see what my bank was offering Monday, they said I needed to Atleast make 5 payments on their loan.

I would argue if you intend to pay to car off within 6-8 months, interest rate matters less I'll agree with you in 90% of circumstances.
