My dad passed from FTD (lots of crossover with ALS). His uncle passed from ALS. So I’m convinced it’s familial for us (probably is). I’m a PT. Every time my foot tingles I’m convinced.

I have all those symptoms but immediately assume that the person has multiple sclerosis like me. Random person "I think I have a tremor" Me "oh, that's so sad. I wonder if they have RRMS, progressive MS, secondary MS, balos concentric MS, tumefactive MS" 🙃

Thanks for sharing your story with all of us. I started with symptoms 4.5 years ago and I’ve learned a lot from your page. I still don’t have a diagnosis but docs believe ALS is low on the list given I have no atrophy.

When my son called me about my exhusband having difficulty walking and falling down I drove to his home to see what was happening. He had drop foot. Told him to go to the Dr. this was serious. 18 months later we had an ALS dx
