My grandads uncle was aboard the titanic and is listed on the survivors list document but there was no lifeboat number associated with him and he was never seen again, assumed dead but somehow was recorded as a survivor? if you're interested in looking him up, John Kennedy aged 24 - Watergate, Co Limerick, Ireland. He can't have been the only person wrongfully recorded aswell, so the statistics on survivors are likely very wrong

Sydney morning herald had it front page of the newspaper on 17th April which was the 16th April in the Northern Hemisphere… news travels fast… Fiji was connected to Australia.

The news reached New Zealand on the 16th. Morse was sent to trade ships throughout the pacific at the same time. Fiji is still a reliant country of NZ…your question answered.

I swear up until recently they said the titanic sank on the 14th. yes I know the iceberg struck at 20 to 12 on the 14th but I swear for years it said it sank on the 14th. I never checked the times until I realised the info had changed.....

Where is the proof of this though? Just googled and found nothing to give it any credibility, and the only mention of it was only websites titled “titanic conspiracy theories” that go on to mention there’s no proof this ever happened and it’s widely accepted as fiction
