McGrath Highway Resurfacing is a state project that isn’t complete yet. They just put the flexposts up a week or two ago, looks like the bridge resurfacing isn’t complete which is why the detour directs you to the community path.

The resurfacing project is still under construction, and in a few years they’ll be redoing the entire corridor to get rid of the overpass and bring it down to street level with better accessibility and bike/pedestrian facilities. MassDOT’s website has info on both projects!

I mean you and I don’t need those bike lanes no cap. We’re fit young men, the top 1%. But our children? They need much more than just paint. So if these bike lanes aren’t for us heavy bikers and they’re not for the novice bikers, who are they for? (Hint: It’s for the city metrics)
