We are a Christian household. I just confronted my 19yr old asking if her & her “friend” are more than friends & she said yes. I yelled out in happiness & tears then hugged her and said you couldn’t have found a better girl cause I love her too. My girl is a very private person & was scared I’d not want anything to do with her which I knew so I confronted & asked her so she can live her true, full, happy life starting now. I told her to stay praying to God every day cause He is the ONLY one to get her thru life He is ONLY one to get any of us thru this life. My girl & her partner are so wonderful together & I have gained another daughter 🥰

Hey so I’m just now getting to read comments and I want to make it so clear that this video isn’t meant to put down another religion, but I genuinely worry for kids and others that are at the point of rectifying their sexuality with their faith. I’ve been there and it isn’t fun so this is just my feelings. Pls do not send hate to that creator.

I had a friend that argued with me that being gay is a ‘choice’. I yelled and cried saying do you think Matthew Shepard chose to be gay so that he could die in a field tied to a fence and beaten, do you think gay people want to be disowned by their family. She said yes I do. I ended that friendship because of her view. I do miss her but I can’t be friends with someone who says they believe in god but has so much hate in their heart.

Pete Buttigieg gave a speech very similar to your video. It break my heart that anyone would feel that way growing up. I don’t attend church now, but I’ve considered going back to United Methodist church bc of their LGBTQ acceptance.
