if people don't know why sikhs can't eat halal meat is we believe that we shouldn't eat meat (some sects do eat meat but im not that educated about those)but halal meat is really bad because of the way it is slaughtered. it is very painful for the animal so we believe it shouldn't be consumed

I gotta clarify eating meat as a Sikh for some of you sooo, first off, the meat must be butchered in a clean effortless strike, minimal pain. Furthermore it should only be as a final resort and desperate situation. This is due to it being only viable during a wartime era, this is made evident due to the existence of Nihang Sikhs. Again, not trying to bash your statement just adding a bit to it since a lot of Sikhs don’t actually eat meat.
