Mom, did you go to the orthodontist with your kid when he got braces or just drop him off? If you have braces, you can't be eating anything sticky, chewy or hard like skittles, gummy bears, caramel, or nuts as it could damage the braces and be hard to clean the teeth which in turn can cause cavities. Now you know.
