Yes. My mom never took care of her diabetes and now she has to get a shot in her eye every month or she could go blind because of that.

For anyone here needing treatment for diabetic retinopathy or macular edema, don’t be afraid of the injections. I get them for something else and I promise they are a piece of cake and do not hurt! You got this!!
