Now that you have the generator running, consider replacing the resistor with a proper power rated one ASAP. Old one was 2w and you used .25w.

Word of advice, the resistor you put on there is what looks like a 1/8 Watt resistor, whereas the one you were replacing looked like it was a 1/4 Watt or possibly 1/2. The 1/8 will work but it’s under spec and will likely fail much faster. Keep an eye on it with a thermal camera, if it starts to get hot, replace it with a higher wattage value.
