Ok, I understand the lack of armour on the other arm because it held the shield, may I ask why the lack of armour on the other leg? if anything, because the shield covers the armoured leg I would think it doesn't need protection. then again that side would be the target as the attacker would be in position to attack the shield and their weapon could slide down into the leg. Is it because the unarmored leg is often behind the body for support and the armour would hinder movement? Did I get it????
