I collected China for a year for my daughters wedding. The caterer only charged $100 to wash them. Second daughter is using the same China for her wedding in the spring.

Jesus Christ, it’s so wasteful though. It just goes straight to the landfill

I always tell our couples to try the utensils and plates for about a week for their dinners to make sure that they stand up to the test. Better to find out now then on wedding day. 💕

Not sure if a name on the ribbon is necessary or would look good

We used these exact plates at our rehearsal dinner and they made for a beautiful table scape!

We are doing the same - our venue quoted us $700 for dishes which was just too much for us to justify. We are serving pizza from our favorite restaurant anyways so I just didnt feel like it was super necessary to have real dishware

I would take one of each of the cutlery out and try to use them in foods that you’re serving so nobody ends up with a broken knife or fork while eating

I did this for my wedding. I don't regret it at all. It saved us literally hundreds of dollars and we got so many compliments on it

Outdoor in a pavilion - think wind and flying paper plates. Maybe there is a way to weight the cutlery - place card names written with gold paint pens on decorative rocks doing the double duty to keep them held down?

Inexpensive gold chargers from wholesalers on line or dollar tree would be gorgeous with those plates/utensils. Would take it up a notch. I did that then sold them after my wedding

Buy a large rosemary plant and snip off a little sprig and tie them onto the napkins with the chiffon Plus you can plant the rosemary in a pot and you will have it after your wedding
