People don’t associate WhatsApp with professional settings which is why it’s blurred lines. Use teams or emails, people are much less likely to do it there. I think WhatsApp is social media and private between group members and companies have no right to intervene on it tbh. Work don’t own WhatsApp or the groups that’s are created 🤷🏼♂️

my husband just had to suspend half his team as one (stupidly) had installed WhatsApp on their work laptop. The team manage retention calls, and he seen the messages during call quality checks. everything that you could say wrong was on the screen recording 🙈

At an old job they required you have a Facebook profile as the way to join a work group & get the rota changes (unless you wanted to go in every day to check it) - they said A profile not MY profile so I made a works profile just for that group

where I work people can't differentiate "your" and "you're" and they act smarter than our clients. They also have a GC I deliberately avoided for this reason
