That cop was definitely on a power trip, and that was uncalled for. But with that being said, just comply first and then fight it in court. It's that simple! No the cop should have NEVER escalated it to that, in front of her kids, BUT she should have cared enough about her kids to just comply and it not escalate to what it did. Both people are in the wrong here. Just my opinion.
