Just went through this with my 7 month old. She’s on the other side now. But sounded JUST like this. Diagnosed with Croup at her Pediatrician.

My fiend taught me this trick… sit in a seamy room then, then wrap your child up in a blanket and go outside for the cold. I did this a couple times and it really helped.

My 6mo is currently being treated for croup. For everyone saying “take them out in the cold,” what about when you live in the 100° Florida panhandle? 😕 we’ve been doing saline, steam, rest, nursing, mommy’s bliss and tylonel because he cries when he coughs 💔

We have a bad cough like that but they didn’t prescribe us anything and no shot said it was Metapnuemovirus 🥲 and just treat symptoms at home I feel so bad

Did your doctor say that they noticed any sounds when listening to her lungs? I only ask cause my daughter’s cough sounds just like this. congested as well and VERY fussy which is unlike her of course. She tested negative for RSV, Covid, Flu and pneumonia. But croup was never mentioned as a possible thing

I just left the emergency room with my 8 month old and was diagnosed with croup. She got the steroid medication hopefully it helps! Do you have any other recommendations to help with this??

My son had it got a steroid shot that helped a lot because when you get croup it hurts ur throat super bad! I got it and cold drinks helped me and also a nebulizer!! Is much needed and cool air
