I like the theory that the air is denser in asoiaf than real life because it makes more sense for the dragon’s flight—their wings would work more like a sea turtles’s flippers than actual wings.

FINALLY SOMONE SAYS IT. DRAGONS NEED FULL WINGS. the W shape doesnt offer enough lift from the denter of gravity. they could hover pretty well or even glide if angled right.

my pet peeve is in media when the dragons wings connect to their torso and not further down, it just looks weird. Having it connect further down looks better and is more realistic (as much as a dragon can get lol).

According to all known laws of aviation, there is no way that a bee should be able to fly. Its wings are too small to get its fat little body off the ground. The bee, of course, flies anyway because bees don't care what humans think is impossible.
