@evanthorizon: Big Bang Books! 🌌 Was this video an excuse for me to geek out about some of my cosmology books? Perhaps. Recommended books: 1. The End of Everything by Katie Mack 2. The First Three Minutes by Steven Weinberg 3. An Infinity of Worlds by Will Kinney 4. Cosmology’s Century by James Peebles 5. An Intro to Cosmology by Barbara Ryden #BookLover #TikTokLearningCampaign #spacetok #astronomytok

What if the Big Bang wasn’t the start… but two universes colliding to form a new one? Like cosmic parents birthing a whole new reality.

Did the big bang explode into one direction only, or did it explode 360 degrees.

Used rydens book in one of my classes this year. It honestly was an interesting read and definitely explains a lot of topics pretty well. The math I found fairly easy to follow but also am in my 3rd year of an astrophysics major

Have you got any book recommendations on this for kids? They love all things space but some of their questions are hard to answer with simple language

can you recommend some books that go into the laws of physics (motion, electromagnetism, thermodynamics)? I'm really enjoying your recommendations

i think that its all actually just black void with no end or start, but its the objects inside it that keep expanding and taking up more space

My perspective is that time is merely a measured observation of change. A made up metric by which to compare the rate at which things change. Hence time must have always existed because to not exist means a completely stable unchanging universe, which wouldn't have big banged if it was stable.

I got a better model that fits the observations...but what would be the point of declaring it if nothing actually changes in regards to humanities future
