Prices went up because interest rates were at all-time lows 🏦⬇️ — more people could afford more house, which drove demand way up, and prices followed. 📈 Now, those buyers are staying put, and inventory is tight. States with lots of condos are struggling. HoA for condos and single family homes are harder to sell. Single family home with no HoA are skyrocketing, especially in prime locations. Desert living seems to be popular at the moment.

Off topic question: I am flipping a really cute little house in an up-and-coming neighborhood, it was a town that had formally fallen on some hard times, but they are doing better, but the next-door neighbors are a real shit show. There’s some privacy fence, but chain-link fence divides the 2 yards in the front and I’m trying to decide whether to try to put up a little bit of “camouflage” between the two properties for showings or I’m wondering if that would just draw more attention to the fact that there is a dump next-door. The neighbors are also always on their front porch and screaming at each other and their children. Any advice? It’s obvious by just glancing over that there is a dump next-door, but I’ve already talked to the city officials and they will not allow me to do much in the way of a privacy fence or anything like that. :(

Our agent was amazing. She showed us everything in area that we could get qualified for but respected our budget. She was finding things for us to consider even before they hit the market. We bought in 22 and it only took 3 months when I was watch others look for a year + and still not finding anything.
