conservation is absolutely essential for these species. we did the damage for these (and so many others) so yes, we should pay to undo our harm and up funding to continue to conserve the species that call our planet home.

since their need for conservation is a direct result of our intervention, id say yes. its not like say... the panda who was on it way to extinction before humans had much interaction, were caring for a geriatric line there

We must be willing to protect all species. For every step we lose, every uncharismatic species, every parcel of “worthless” land, every acceptable casualty, we come closer to destroying those “more valuable” ones. If we are not willing to step up before it is too late, we will not step up when time has run out
