Please don’t go back. My household wasn’t religious but my grandmother was and I spent a lot of time with her. These ppl live in fear of something they themselves can’t explain. Don’t live in fear. Live in yourself.

it’s so discouraging to me to see how rooted everything is in religion. it’s like it’s the standard. you could be the nicest person on earth but not be religious, and religious people will see you as evil just because of that one thing
