Dementia is so hard. She will drift away, and then come back. It’s like losing them over and over again. With my Gram we just tried to remember to be grateful for every moment with her. Happy she’s still got her sense of humor. I’m so sorry you all are going through this. May you give her and eachother grace. Sending all my love.

My mom had dementia before she passed and wanted a banana milkshake everyday so we got her one just to see her smile. Dr said she needed a diet but we/her children didn’t care. It wasn’t going to change anything cept her smile 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰it’s hard but worth every moment! 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
