It’s just like buying tires from Walmart… the best Goodyear tires are sold at their own stores, Walmart gets the second hand trash tires that barely pass inspection… and that came from someone that works in corporate at Goodyear!! We’ve tested them ourselves and it seems to be true!! The Walmart tires are def crappy!!

might just be your academy cause all the line i get at my local one is stronger than the pack says. i use seaguar or suffix 832 braid for everything and seaguar only for fluoro and at least the stuff i get i pull 3lb bass out of thick pads on 8lb and it never breaks or gets abraided

It’s all about what you like this day in time. I’ve used it all. Berkley X9 is the absolute best braid for the money you’ll ever use. I’ve fished 300+ days a year in rivers and have never had a single issue. I use mainly 40lb for top water and swim jig. My favorite 100%
