Everyone that's telling her she needs to make people sign a noncompete is ridiculous. First of all a noncompete are so unfair to employee because if you work in a certain field, you're gonna go work in that field again. That's like a hospital telling the nurse you can't go be a nurse somewhere else again for 2 to 5 years.

I had a "friend' steal my ideas. we're both vendors at events. when I blocked her from my business page, she posted some saying about, if they leave, let them. I'm the third vendor 'friend' she stole ideas from.

Mean this in the best possible way - as a long time entrepreneur - find friends outside of your business and keep your personal life private from your employees. Some use “knowing” your success as justification for stealing ideas, time, etc. Sad, but real.

You may want to reach out to your customers just in case she has got in touch with them. You need to contact all your vendors too, as she may be using you as a reference to get deals for herself. Document everything, because someone that died this is capable of doing much more. Stay focus and strong, learn from this
