If someone judges you for the toys all over then clearly they have never had kids. My kids had toys out when they were toddlers and when they took a nap that’s when I put it in the toy box and the toy bins. They are little only for a short time so let them be kids and play.

Mama you’re already 1000 steps ahead of me! I would’ve been side tracked before I even touched the first truck. My 16 year old still has Woody and Buzz he got for his 1st bday…we’ve cross country moved 4 times!! 😂

Thank you for not making me feel like my adhd cleaning is so weird! Only makes sense to me to pull everything out and then put what I keep away! Only way to clean my house 😂

Hear me out. I take away the ones with a lot of pieces and let him have one at a time. You can have ALL the big toys but the messy ones. One at a time and I switch them out weekly. Or if he asks.

Try rotating toys! Kids can get overstimulated by too many toys too. Give them just a few options each day and watch them really start playing with them

I feel this… I have 2 boys and I try to keep their stuff separated (to an extent since they are 5 and 2) and I end up with parts of toy sets in different spots 🙄 magnetic tiles or legos can be found in probably every room in my house somewhere 😩

A suggestion: take half of the kept toys & hide them. Rotate the toys out every couple of weeks. Less mess & you will be able to easily decide what to donate. Less stimulation for you 😃
