I’ve been wanting to animate this for a while. I did it over the last few days, I hope it hits you the same way it did me when I first read it. There’s something so comforting about this memory, even if it’s not one we’ve directly experienced. It’s like a universal feeling of safety, what a gift. And then I think of it in the context of today… and a part of me feels wrecked. What a blessing my children are sound asleep. I hope when I die, they’ll know I was just like them, and they’ll always be like they are to me. I really hope you enjoy this, and can see what I am attempting to do with Mr Skelly, and can join me in a shared excitement and hopeful anticipation for more long-form works… Thank you for being alive. #1924us #life #art #mrskelly #animation

Of wrongdoing to a more self-serving motive. Here are some of the most common reasons: Genuine Apology: * A desire to repair the relationship: The person wants to mend a broken bond and show that they value the other person and the connection they share. * Acknowledgement of harm caused: They recognize they have hurt someone, whether intentionally or not, and want to validate the other person's feelings and pain. * Taking responsibility: They are admitting fault and owning their actions, which is a sign of maturity and integrity. * Expression of regret: They genuinely feel bad about what they did and want to express that sorrow. Self-Serving or Insecure Apology: * Avoiding conflict: The person might say "sorry" to quickly end an argument or to prevent a difficult conversation. * Fear of rejection or abandonment: They apologize to avoid being disliked or to prevent someone from leaving them. This can be a sign of low self-esteem. * A manipulation tactic: Sometimes "sorry" is used as a way to get out of trouble or to make the other person feel guilty for being upset. * A habit or social reflex: For some, "sorry" is an overused word that they say automatically for small things, even when they are not at fault. Ultimately, the reason behind a "sorry" can reveal a lot about a person's character and the health of the relationship. A sincere apology is a powerful tool for healing and growth, while an insincere one can do more harm than good. #sorry
