@vanesssalim: We had to take my grandma to the hospital today… As a nurse, it’s so hard to just sit back and watch—I feel so helpless. She seemed to be making progress, but now she’s developed another lung infection. With so many comorbidities—A-fib, refractory asthma, heart failure, kidney failure, diabetes—it’s tough to find the right balance in her care. I’m reminded of how much nurses and healthcare workers do, and I’m so grateful for her team and the way they’ve advocated for her. My grandma means the world to me. She raised me, supported me, and believed in a future for me that I’ll always be thankful for.
