he lost everything.. his parents, his freedom, his loved one, his health as he always cure others by consume their sickness, even his daughter not his biological daughter he still love her more than anything. even after all that he still forced to give up his life and become a weapon.. he gave up his humanity to make sure his daughter is safe, healthy and free.. in the end he lost his life as a cyborg.. he's suffering for almost 50 years of his life.. to me, about 20 years watching anime and reading manga.. i have never seen such a tragic heartbreaking backstory of a character 💔 he has many reasons to hate the whole world but he still choose to be kind 🥀
