I'll be honest, I've never had a problem drinking from these streams. I prefer water falls from higher up the mountain though.

Not in these dry conditions even in Scotland . No rain in weeks streams are a trickle and fish are dying because the quality is so poor🙈🙈

👀 done the west highland way 2 weeks ago and a lot of folk took ill ,even with filters . it's not worth it . always boil it first

A sawyer water filter is great. Clicks onto your bottle top and filters out parasites. I know it’s “filtered through the rocks” but animals could have still pooped further up.

Scottish water is the best tho there have been a lot of warning not to drink from the streams due to contamination so I’m not sure a TikTok is worth becoming sick over 🤨
