@kylact: Her stone is finally here. For ten months we’ve visited her gravesite, but without her gravestone. Just a temporary marker, waiting for something that felt so final. In Canada, it can take many months—but nothing prepares your heart for this part. Waylon and I gently cleaned her resting place today. He placed fresh flowers, and we stood in front of her name, carved into stone. It’s beautiful & heartbreaking & forever. I’ve added two gifted QR plaques to her site.
