My dog had cancer and ordered his chemo pills through chewy. I had an auto order charge for almost $500. I called them and told him Tonka passed. The pharmacist herself got on the phone. Meds had shipped. She made sure I was getting refunded no matter what. She personally went and found the package that was still in warehouse. Also asked me how many pills I had left from previous order and refunded those too! Every company needs to have customer service like Chewy!

i love Chewy, they did this when my childhood cat passed in 2023. last summer i adopted a kitten and immediately registered him with Chewy and set some subscriptions up for his favorite snacks

We had a dog pass and told Chewy that we no longer needed her food delivered and that her brother (cat) would miss it because he loved stealing dog food out of her bowl. They sent us a card, a small bag of dog food (for the cat) and some cat treats/toys. You can tell the company is run by people who understand how much an animal can mean to someone.

Chewy is incredible. Also refunds if your dog had a bad reaction or can’t eat the food/treats. Sent us flowers and a card when my dog died. Will never shop anywhere else for dog food especially.
