@healthy_unicorn: DESSERTS OF ITALY EPISODE 4 🇮🇹 | Liguria, Canestrelli 🌼 In this series we will travel through every Italian region, eating a traditional dessert 🍨 they will have a healthy touch (or you wouldn't be a healthy unicorn follower 🫠), but still close to the traditional recipes. In this episode, we are travelling to Liguria, the region of Genoa and Cinque Terre, to eat Canestrelli 🌼 some cute shortcrust biscuits made with boiled egg yolks and a special texture ✨️ I N G R E D I E N T S 60 g cold butter 50 g icing sugar 3 boiled egg yolks 100 g 00 flour 80 g cornflour 2 tbsp milk Pinch of salt Zeste of one lemon Vanilla flavouring M E T H O D Mix the butter cut into small pieces with the icing sugar. Sieve in the egg yolks, then add the lemon zeste and vanilla flavouring. Add the flour, cornflour and salt and knead with your hands to make a pastry. Add the splash of milk if needed. Leave in the fridge for at least 1 h, then roll to about 1 cm height and cut the biscuits. Bake at 180 °C for about 12 min or until golden.
