That happened to me at Kohls. There’s a number on the receipt and you can call and ask why you got this.

I had this happen at Kohl’s. I buy a lot online and I do quite a few returns but always with a receipt, tags on and never worn. I’m done shopping there.

THATS why I don't shop online if I can help it. You have no real idea how the item will look, fit or feel until you actually have it. There are a few exceptions because my feet or hard to fit but I've never had an issue with Zappos. I have a great locally owned shoe store that I get most of my shoes from. They even special order for me.

I ordered a pair of Birkenstocks from DSW although the shoes were fine, the box was broke down and busted. I’m glad it wasn’t a gift

I once ordered 2 pair of shoes from them. They sent me 2 pairs of USED shoes. Like scuffed and WORN. I swore them off forever after that. Don't shop with them. Ever.

Oh good to know I have a cart full of dsw shoes but won’t bother ordering because I don’t want a hassle- returning shoes from an online order shouldn’t be problematic .

But thank you for the heads up on DSW. I had been looking at a couple pairs of shoes but I'll cross them off my possibles. I have 3 weddings this summer to attend and wanted some new shoes to wear since my dress shoes are getting worn and tired looking.

My opinion, 5 returns in 1 yr. r too many. From a small biz perspective, it costs $ for returns. Shoes r really tricky, best to try on in store if u can. I also sell apparel online. Tip- I’ve bought vintage shoes online (EBay) and I give the measurements of my foot for fit accuracy, but that’s vintage 😊
