Cannon mountain is literally the hardest and longest hike I’ve been on in NH. Why would this be listed under east hikes 😅

my parents hiked cannon mountain during their honeymoon and got caught in a hailstorm. they wound up running down the mountain and hiding out under a picnic table in some random person’s campsite

All great hikes but if you want a moderate 4000 footer, I suggest Pierce or Tecumseh. Cannon is a short hike but it’s nonstop steep.
