All of that style pto I’ve seen on Alison’s had 12point 10mm heads. I havent seen one with Allen headed bolts yet.

I don't recall for a reman but a new genuine from Allison 4500RDS transmission was roughly $25,000 2 years ago. I put one in a new roll off truck that hauled 1 load before the PTO fell off.

Thread inserts in transmission case take the housing to your local machine shop should be able to remove broken bolts

Is the brace solid? Allison pump brace has shafts that slide. Aluminum transmission steel pump and PTO expand very different with heat.

I would like to see what you built for the pto clutch removal.. I made a simple one, 1/8” aluminum with four bolts that match. Works great. I have been following you to see if you get into my neighbor hood of repairs. (Mack’s, mp8’s, Allison’s) Ty

alot of guys don't know you can spin the bearings and raise or lower the gear to hit trans gear

I’ve seen a lot of pto bolts come lose over the years even ones that have been torqued, I put some blue locktite on them and have had good luck

They did not get those bolts at Lowe's because Lowe's does not have that thread pitch. And what happened to the Allen head bolt that were supposed to go there
