12 steps is ok, however sponsers are not councillors or trained coaches. The 12 steps do not develop into pain and trauma and that's a huge gap for 95% of everyone in addiction. Also we are all individuals and recover differently. I understand what you are saying, but recovery is not always 12 steps, they need to be updated from 90 years ago and AA need to train people, much love
