Tonight was just one of those nights and that’s okay! It happens!!!:( Both Lamb AND white rice are HUGE HUGE HUGE fear foods for me. I always get to pick my dinners in here but because we have been going so well, (WHICH I AM SO BEYOND PROUD OF US FOR) the team thought they would challenge me and give a dinner that they knew would test my mind. And you bet it did! At the start it was okay! We went in with such a STRONG attitude and mind, however now that we are upping the food portions each day and a new meal plan.. I started getting very full, so with a mixture of fullness (from Brekky, morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea today) and the fact that these are two huge fear foods….my mind started slipping. I got in my head a little bit however did you notice that we KEPT AT IT and KEPT pushing 🥹 It’s OKAY to have a bit of a break. I’ve realised that, what creates a bond between yourself and food! So with a little break via sudoku, memories of all your kind words/messages that you have said to me along my journey and some beautiful advice from my gorgeous grandma, WE SMASHED IT ALLLL!!!!!!!!!!! WE ATE EVERY LAST BITE AND I COULD NOT BE MORE PROUD. This is BY FAR my biggest achievement during this incredible recovery journey and now I’m bawling again because it makes me think of how amazing and powerful the human brain really is ❤️‍🩹 Words can’t describe my love for you, let’s continue to destroy this journey together so this is just a little reminder that not every day is going to be easy and that is MORE than okay!!! It’s how you view the obstacle that makes the difference between weather you conquer it or it conquers you. Both options are beyond okay but the mind is so powerful that I bet if you just pushed a little tiny bit further then you CAN CONQUER IT! Through this journey I felt like I have faced so many challenges but also so many highs thanks to you angels and as hard as it’s been we have come SO far together which is just incredibly beautiful 🫶🏽🫶🏽🫶🏽😭⭐️
