@jeremyfilmsthings: I set up a camera next to a lyrebird’s display mound and here’s some of the action from the past week. Breeding season hasn’t started yet but the boys have been doing some serious rehearsals! P.s. The very last bird is an immature male (3 years old). I’ve only seen him doing solo displays so far but he’s doing so well! Note: The camera was set up for lyrebird monitoring for my volunteer group. We have a research permit for this.
