I need yall to all understand. Steve whitmire (old Kermit) was LET GO. Because he was treating everyone like GARBAGE. There were VARIOUS complaints about his behavior. Playing Kermit and figuring him out takes time. It’s not something that happens right away. It takes YEARS for a puppeteer to develop a character. Also, Matt Vogel is not Kermit’s voice actor. He’s his performer. Puppeteering is HARD (coming from a puppeteer). Youre learning an entirely new person with their own unique body language and voice. Matt Vogel is not and never will be Steve whitmire or Jim Henson and he has not been provided the same opportunity to use Kermit as much as either of those two did. He gets better every time he tries. Let’s give him some time.
