I feel like I can only get so by far finding self worth in what I can do for others. It’s how I’ve operated my whole life, and because of this, every small thing feels like it’s my fault, everything feels like mine to fix. And it gets exhausting. I know I should care for myself as deeply as I care for others, but everyone else’s lives always feel more valuable that my own. I feel like I’ve never achieved anything, and never will, so at the very least I can help others meet their full potential, because I know I could never let myself.
