Just fyi, the painter’s tape is not meant to be renter friendly. It has a shelf life and will ruin things over time. Use underlayment. It’s meant for that 🥰

For this one you used paper but for the kitchen you use the black underlayment? Which one worked better? I have tile and they told me I don’t need anything under it, that if it’s peel and stick I can just stick them right onto the tile?

I had a friend who was renting, she did all these upgrades, the landlord upped her rent, she couldn't afford it so removed everything she did and left. Without the upgrades the landlord couldn't charge that rent. 😅

Cheap dollar sto peel and stick will com up after the first mop. If it’s installed correctly you don’t have to grout LVT flooring.

I’ve never heard of placing grout on that type of flooring having been in installs for 8 years. Probably bad for it as a permanent install but as temp it’s probably ok
