Investors typically receive liquidation preference despite not contributing labor or operational value to the company. This structure often disproportionately benefits capital over the people who build the company. In my view, if any group deserves liquidation preference, it should be the employees through the ESOP, as they are the ones driving long-term value creation. #laborovercapital
